What is a Teacup Pomeranian

The Teacup Pomeranian is not actually a recognized breed. This is because so-called Teacup Poms are just like regular toy-sized Pomeranians, only they have been bred to be smaller, but they are genetically the same. However, unlike most Teacup dogs, the breeding of ever-smaller Pomeranians is not a modern phenomenon, The average Teacup Pomeranian life span is between 12 and 16 years. Water and food can run out, pee and poo will accumulate in the Pom's designated area, etc. If your dog gets into trouble at night it might be best to keep him in the bedroom or crate. Most dogs prefer to lie next to you and they would also sleep there, if they could choose. This only shows how much they enjoy your presence and it's also a sign that your dog trusts you! And, Yes! Pomeranians are generally known to be cuddly and affectionate dogs. They like belly rubs and being petted by their owners. Pomeranians love to cuddle, snuggle, and hug their owners.


How to take care of your Teacup

Puppies should be fed a nutritious diet

Teacup puppies should eat a high-fiber diet. Look for foods with ingredients like eggs, chicken, fruits, vegetables, and omega-3 fatty acids in canned or dry form.

Search to see if the dog food contains Karo syrup. Low blood sugar is a problem for teacup puppies, and this ingredient can help, or Nutra-cal, another great substitute incase of emergency is a bit of honey on the tongue or a bit of sugar and water.

Ensure that your puppies get enough rest 

Teacup puppies are known for their energetic play. They become extremely tired after engaging in physical activity, especially strenuous play. Most recommended before playtime all puppy to have a snack or Nutra-cal or Karo syrup.

It’s necessary to give your puppy time to rest if it’s falling asleep.

Make a cozy bed for the teacup puppies. When you’ve done playing with your puppy, put it in its bed. Enable the puppy to rest for a few hours by leaving it alone. Remember allow puppy to sleep as much as they need.
